X-rays are not automatically required. Dr. Jordan will review your history and examine the relevant areas first. If imaging or another investigation is appropriate, he will discuss the reason and next steps with you.

An adjustment is a controlled, precise movement applied to a joint, with the aim of improving movement and function. It may be one part of a plan that also includes other hands-on care, exercise, and practical advice.
-
The sound that can accompany an adjustment is associated with pressure changes and the rapid formation of a gas-filled cavity in joint fluid. It is not the sound of bones grinding together.
-
Your preferences matter. Tell Dr. Jordan if you are uncomfortable with a technique or would like to discuss alternatives. Treatment options and your consent are part of the conversation before care begins.
-
Dr. Jordan considers your health history, examination findings, goals, and preferences. He will explain proposed care, expected benefits, material risks, and reasonable alternatives. Further assessment or referral may be recommended when needed.
-
At Stride, the focus includes how you move, what you are experiencing, and the activities you want to return to. Your plan may combine hands-on treatment, exercises, and education based on the assessment findings.

The recommended frequency depends on your assessment, goals, and response to care. Dr. Jordan will discuss a plan with you and review your progress. There is no single schedule that suits everyone.
